Construction accompanying scaffolding

Only an extremely cramped construction site is available for the construction and scaffolding work, as the construction site is directly adjacent to the Unterföhring S-Bahn station and the new construction work is being carried out in the immediate vicinity of the existing buildings, which will be dismantled in the second construction phase. Since there is only a very limited amount of space available for storing materials, the construction site logistics and the execution of all work must be carried out just in time. In addition, the construction measures were planned in such a way that ongoing TV productions and the technical playout of the content are neither restricted nor impeded.
The executing construction company Riedel Bau from Schweinfurt works closely with Schäfer Gerüstbau, which erects and maintains the working and protective scaffolding as well as shoring during construction. The scaffolding solutions are used for the safe execution of the various subsequent trades, in some cases they already support the shell construction. Based on the PERI UP scaffolding construction kit, the Schäfer scaffolding specialists ensured from the outset that only minimal conversion and adjustment work was required for safe and versatile scaffolding use. In the case of the complicated wall construction with double-shell masonry, for example, the inside coupling of 33 cm with 25 cm brackets simplified and accelerated the scaffolding work and use in equal measure.

Versatile construction kit

The PERI UP scaffolding kit makes it possible to carry out a variety of scaffolding applications with only a few different components. The modular principle simplifies construction logistics and allows flexible adjustment options. In Unterföhring, almost 20,000 m² of facade scaffolding with a width class of W09, including the necessary stair access, is being erected at a height of up to 22 m with PERI UP. In addition, assembly platforms and room scaffolding for the glass roof assembly that are up to 15 m high can be erected. PERI UP is used as the support system in a shoring tower design, and heavy-duty supports are used to transfer high, concentrated individual loads of up to 200 kN. These heavy-duty props are also based on PERI UP standard core components, with four scaffolding standards bundled using 25 cm ledgers to form compact power packs.
